The name 'Timmy Vegas' needs little introduction, and we're sure that his alter-ego as 'Soul Central' still sends shivers down the backs of the House community. So we were obviously thrilled when Timmy got in touch, and then fell off our office chairs when we heard the incredible dancefloor-ability of 'Don't Stop' and the equally wonderful vocals of diva power-house Jennifer Wallace.
First-up we have Timmy's Disco version, that's glued together by it's irresistible four-to-the-floor 909 style drums, that accompany the groovy bassline, jazzy keys and clavs to devastating dancefloor effect.
Next-up we have the equally irresistible Boogie version, that harks back to the glory days of early 80s Electro-Funk, and where Timmy's freestyle drums work an absolute treat with the lead synth lines and dreamy 'Roger Troutman-esque' vocoder perfectly.
Lastly we have a rather special 'Casio Social Club' extended dub mix, that strips Timmy's boogie mix right back, allowing the drums and bassline to rock the joint, accompanied with space echo vox delays and scratches for that extra 80s authenticity.
All-in-all we think you'll agree that Summertime has definitely arrived... we hope you ENJOY! :o)
