Multi-platinum record selling composer and musician, Glenn Morrison is the archetype of the modern DJ / Producer star. The Toronto native is as happy rocking an underground rave party as he is performing on live to air awards shows and TV & radio appearances. From his early years as a Royal Conservatory of Music trained classical pianist, Morrison was a child pianist who competed in various Canadian festivals and competitions such as Kiwanis, ORMTA, and CMC. Morrison won many awards in front of judges before the age of 13, and in his teenage years he wandered into the electronic music space, where his musicianship took another turn and chapter. International club hits soon followed, such as 'Contact', 'No Sudden Moves', 'Into The Deep', & 'Circles', and these records cemented Glenn's status as a celebrated electronic music composer from an early age.

As soon as Morrison was able to be old enough to play in clubs, he was getting booked internationally, with prestigious residencies at Amnesia in Ibiza (3 years), Space in Ibiza (2 years), Rain Palms Casino, Las Vegas (3 years), Space in Miami (3 years), Pacha in Buenos Aires (3 years), as well as constant global touring to over 80 countries. On a terrestrial radio and international pop level, Glenn's certified double platinum single 'Goodbye' featuring Islove wound up going 11 weeks in a row on the Number 1 spot in the Canadian Billboard Charts, and impressively it carried Number 1 on the Billboard Charts in 7 countries to date. Glenn has been nominated for several Juno Awards in 2015, as well as Fans Choice Award / Dance Artist Of The Year / Dance Record Of The Year for Sirius XM Radio Music Awards, and Morrison won the SOCAN Dance Record Of The Year 2015. Morrison is signed to Sony Music, Universal Music Group, and Sony Records, alongside his own independent label work with Fall From Grace, Bedrock, Cocoon Recordings, Ministry of Sound, Robbins, Hooj Choons, and Anjuna.

Glenn has also enjoyed the support of being the opening act for world class DJs and artists such as Tiesto, David Guetta, Avicii, and Armin van Buuren. He has Dj'd easily over 500 shows with these artists alone over the years, in stadiums, festivals, and clubs around the world. Morrison is respected as the opener simply because of the quality in which he approaches each one of his live sets. Glenn is a difficult DJ to pigeonhole and that's what makes him such a fascinating talent. One minute his sound is ruthlessly minimal and funky, and the next it's washed in colour and vocals and emotion.

Morrison has been working over the last 12 years with IMAX in close partnership on creative music and film based projects, exploring what is possible with great cinema married with great music - projects such as 'Shadows Of Everest' on Netflix where Morrison composed the music for the film, and Glenn's live show IMAX performance at the Ruben H Fleet Science Centre in San Diego, California, where he was the first person in history to do music scoring on a 72mm film print, using elements of IMAX's celebrated catalogue such as James Bond 007, the Dark Knight, Lord of the Rings, and more, weaving those cinematic pieces within an electronic score and framework - Glenn and IMAX unveiled this concept called IMAX:Remix with a series of live shows to great commercial acclaim. Genre bending, with expressive highs and lows, the single encompasses all of Morrison's talent. The title track 'Motion' is a melodic house hit, with poignant riffs and unique chord progressions. This is quite simply a masterclass in progressive house production. This release is a running motif from this past year based around outboard synthesizers and modular gear to form the bedrock of all sonic explorations when writing these records, and after the summer there will be a full length album and limited edition vinyl to support this body of work.
