LA based artist, Skonka, doesn't need to much of an introduction.
But if you didn't already know the name, Skonka has been making some serious moves in the scene for quite some time now, playing some of the biggest parties/festivals, and signing records to notable labels such as Repopulate Mars, Dimmak, Bump N' Grind, Cats & Boots, and more. So we were more than excited to sign his 'Knobs' EP and welcome him into the family!
The A-Side 'Knobs' was an instant sign as soon as we heard the vocal. This song is a serious SLAPPER, fun percs, dirty synth hits, playful glitchy blips. We know this is going to be a staple in many sets to come!
'Throw It Around', the B-Side, has a much brighter and cheery feel on the bridges, lead, and perc selection. But don't be fooled, this track is down right DIRTY! The chunky bassline and bright vocal chops entrance and make you instantly start grooving!
