Scottish producer, DJ and Mitchel Street Records label owner Jasper James is a firmly established and widely respected figure in the contemporary house scene, as a producer racking up releases on acclaimed imprints such as Lovefingers' ESP Institute, Seth Troxler Play It Say It, Optimo Trax and Steel City Dance Discs among others. As a DJ, Jasper has traversed the globe to bring his raw, groove driven sets to many of the leading clubs in Europe, Asia, the Americas and beyond.
Leading the EP is title-cut 'Webster', a hypnotic slice of deeper leaning House fuelled by airy chord sequences, fluttering acid licks, choppy vocals and a swinging, crisp drum groove.
'Factor 50' follows on the flip-side and shifts focus towards a 90's House aesthetics via a murky bass groove, crunchy saturated drums and a classic piano rave hook, all dynamically unfolding across the track's five-and-a-half-minute duration.
