Piston Recordings welcomes back DJ Linus with his latest release, ‘Ferryflight’. With a notable career in the electronic music industry spanning over several years, Linus is a well-respected figure in the scene. As the founder of Exun and Sujet Musique labels, he consistently showcases his exceptional talent and commitment to delivering high-quality tracks. We’re thrilled to have him back and delighted to unleash his latest creation with the world.

The Original Mix gets the release underway, delivering a solid deep house groove. Punchy beats and crispy sharp hi hats lead us out as stabbing chords and a plucky bassline create that dancey groove. A minimal slice that mesmerizes and forces you to move, not to be missed. Jon Lee returns to PR on remix duties, delivering a tight cut for the floors. We last saw him back at the start of 2023 with ‘Fresh Wares’ and it’s great to have him here once again. On the remix here, Jon picks up the pace with a superbly constructed piece made up of a myriad of percussions and FX which lay the foundation. The main riff is refined with cool FX and is accompanied by a subby bassline that dominates the low end. Some nifty piano work adds a vibrant element and makes this a definite must have. BNinjas returns to the label with a fresh remix which follows his last effort here, ‘You Show Too Much Feelings EP’. Based out of Johannesburg SA with a penchant for organic, evolving deep house grooves, you know it’s time to hit the floors when his latest slice drops. The interpretation here intros with a trippy sequence before a smooth, organic drum arrangement comes through to drive the groove. Deep analogue basses take control as bright chord stabs elevate the vibe and add stark contrasts in the sound. Beautifully crafted and most definitely destined for the later sessions.
