Today we bring you the return of Atelewo (Osunlade & The Pasta Boys) with a classic follow up to the already well known label staple ‘New Day’. This time we move a little further with a more percussive, brass driven soul song about what else but love. ‘Infinity’ proves to continue with the solid production and sound of this team’s collaborative efforts. ‘Sendai’ is a simple mood based groove honouring and acknowledging the loss in the tsunami of 2011. A simple gesture of remembrance, this song adapts a local newscaster explaining the devastation and sorrow. As always we here at Yoruba hope that this new release not only starts the new cycle of 2013 off well, but that it brings forth a new direction. Enjoy!
