This Project is an attempt at creating techno in a stripped form focusing on rhythms over solid melodies, while not trying to "re-invent the wheel". The track "The Force" encompasses a darker side with a consistent build throughout the track. The mood even fluctuates into a haunting vocal while adding/keeping the textures. The second track "Cobalt" skips along on a bouncy beat with hypnotic melodies and subtle changes along this ever-changing track. The remix of "Cobalt" (from el gato #9) gets right down to business with a very direct approach to the overall elements of the original. This one contains effective stabs and quick changeups while maintaining a solid riddim. This EP was acquired from the El Otro Mundo sublabel Friction Recordings. - Audio mixing by Arturo Garces
