Work That
Drums of Death Throwback Remix (4:47)
To bring what has been a great year for Grizzly to a close, we present a new name to the block, Odysseus. As his name suggests this is a man full of guile and cunning as he has crafted a club track full on energy, bounce and flavour. 'Work That' will work your floors with its mix of garage claps, bubbling bass and intense chopped vocals. The package is complete with Drums Of Death jumping on remix duties; his 'Throwback Remix' brings warped strings and wobble but keeps the bass and vocal intact... driving. Expect to hear more from London producer, Odysseus in 2013 with a forthcoming EP on Moda Black in March.
Grizzly kicked off 2012 with label boss, Sinden's solo debut Pull Up Wheel Up and Keep It 1000. The summer success was Melé's club banger, Beamer, with UK grime MC Kano stepping in to lay down the vocals. Brenmar brought the summer night vibes with his take on Kevin Irving's 1987 classic, Children of the Night, bringing it to 2012 with a hint of 90s house. To bring a fresh sound to Grizzly, Sinden enlisted the help of rising-star, Elizabeth Rose (hailed the female TEED) to bring us a synth-pop sultry number. You know we have more heat planned for 2013 so keep listening.
