‘Patterns’ is part of Cedric Vermue’s new album ‘Perpetua’. This ambient electronic track features 12 Juno 60 synthesizer tracks stacked on top of each other. I wrote/recorded this song 4 days straight in March 2022, getting high from the music and at the same time taking naps in my studio. Afterwards I wrote a horn part that was recorded in an old Dutch church called the St. Willibrordchurch. While making this track I was inspired by artists like Dauwd, Four Tet, Rival Consoles and Nils Frahm. The track is mastered on tape by Dutch mastering engineer Wessel Oltheten.
