Continuing a strong fourth quarter, SLC-6 Music unveils new interpretations of ‘Leave Now' by D.J. MacIntyre and Nightbob. Originally released as the anchor selection on Nightbob's 2020 ‘Constellations Scorpius' collection, it found the frequent studio partners crafting a powerful slice of peak-time techno. Called upon to re-interpret the track for 2022 are Adrien Fontaine and Noaria, Dr. Green and Nightbob. First up are label debutants Adrien Fontaine and Noaria who carry that techno sensibility from the original and in turn craft a stark, dystopian flavored rework for those stroby dance floor moments. Meanwhile, SLC-6 Music stalwart Dr. Green returns to the label with a progressive-minded interpretation that works quirky lead themes over muscular grooves and a colourful complement of effects. The release concludes with Nightbob's Modular Minimal Mix which finds the Dutch artist stripping down the original into a retro-radiant slice of techno. Shape-shifting layers and metallic designs converge, achieving a rich, austere timbre over a bed of militant beats and fascinating percussion.
