Typotypex is a visual concert for all audiences from 7 years old, freely inspired by the poem 'Voyelles' by Arthur Rimbaud. A graphic and poetic journey through letters, their forms, the evocation of an imaginary world.
On stage an open piano, machines, Indian ink, brushes, a graphic palette, two artists: 5 letters and everything lights up.
On the giant screen, each vowel is a primary color: A black, E white, O blue... Each note is a color, Chamberlain's music is an ode to the cosmos, a wonder of the senses. The vowels, the words, the landscapes, the whole world in reduction comes alive in live and the written poem ends up being said.
The soundscape responds to the naturalistic and abstract landscapes drawn.
The flowers grow in black and white, the music intoxicates us, the stage is invaded by the letters and flooded with Chamberlain's magnetic music, soaked in the voice of the poem.
