Lawrence Hart and Otus' Crush EP marks the first release from the Echorex singles club. Echorex boasts both Paul Rose (Scuba) and Adam Moujahid (285 Group) at the helm with the two managing the label's A&R and label trajectory.
The original idea for this track came during a session after things started to open up properly in summer 21'. We were just so excited to be around people again. Listening to those early rave records in the 90s that felt euphoric and hopeful, they seemed to resonate even more when we had our freedom back. We wanted to encapsulate that true feeling of connection with each other and the music coming from the 90s along will the illegal raves and culture around that really captured that, so we wanted to create an ode to that but with a fresher perspective.
