Blur Records returns to present the debut of German DJ and Producer Jan Witte, who delivers a wonderful EP entitled "Second Try" featuring 3 remixes by the outstanding producers T.Markakis, Simon Hinter and ColorJaxx.
The first and only original track "Second Try" is undoubtedly a very special one, reminiscing early 2000s house classics, it features dreamy deep chords and subtle percussive passages, displaying a complex bass arrangement and sophisticated swings.
The first remix of "Second Try" is by the prolific Greek producer - T.Markakis, who delivers a driving pumping track with expansive drum work on the original, with an elaborated bassline and a trademark style that characterizes T.Markakis sound.
Next, we have the second remix by German wunderkind - Simon Hinter - who delivers a true reinterpretation of the original track, with a more oriented garage bassline, slick drum work and infectious synthesizers. A composition finely remixed.
To close the release we have the last remix featuring Belgium producer ColorJaxx, a very well-achieved composition on its own, paying a beautiful homage to the original one with its progressive pads in conjunction with the reworked bassline showcasing the artist's capability for remix assignments.
