Greyscale veteran Altone is back for another visit to the Mood Series with his latest EP, named 'Mesh'. Featured on a pristine vinyl dubplate in limited numbers as well as on digital with an extra track! The mid-paced title track begins the release in fine fashion. A minimal and subtle builder that features a distant melody underlying the static buildup and dispersing of the chords in tremendous style. 'Rift' is more upbeat and granular in the dub elements becoming somewhat of a stomper with a house bounce to it. 'Blink' is perhaps the most abstract beat featured here. The broken beat feel is filled in with beautiful washes of chords that fill in audio spectrum amazingly. Brilliant! Altone is in top form here. He has been very busy making music the last few year's and we are very glad to have him back home for another stunning edition.
