Spektre's Respekt kickstarts 2022 with a driving two track techno release by UK artist Transcode.

Based in Manchester, Transcode has made numerous outings on other high-flying techno imprints such as Monika Kruse's Terminal M and Reinier Zonneveld's Filth On Acid.

Transcode made his Respekt debut in 2019, when he dropped an EP that also featured a collaboration with SAMA, but this time he returns with a solo release.

Boasting numerous tracks charting inside of Beatport's top 10 techno section, this hard-hitting release blends dystopian atmosphere with pounding percussion and ominous sub-bass.

'Synesthesia' opens the release with its pounding kick drum and building suspense of the ambient synth line, which leads towards the trippy vocals and breakbeat percussion of the main breakdown, before an explosive drop that's precision-engineered for maximum dance floor impact!

Track two 'Floki' is an altogether different kind of beast, its understated style focuses on a stripped back groove with dark atmospherics that creates a hypnotic vibe focused around breakbeat rhythms. Dark and intense, its underground style is in line with other techno artists such as Shlomi Aber.
