We welcome Lugano based artist Stefano Pensotti aka Pe.Ste to She’s Super Records with the superb three tracker “The Jaggernaut”. Bass guitar former Pe.Ste throughout the years he has nurtured his own style, sometimes merging genres and always delivering solid results. His music background is hugely impressive and is a testament to the talent this guy has. First up, we have The Jaggernaut which is a dark and mysterious, chugging progressive mover. A solid, muscular groove with smooth, pulsing rhythms, the track takes us deep into the abyss. Laced with striking Synth Pads and a psy edge, this one is not to be missed. Next, we have the First Act, offering up a wonderfully deep progressive groover. Dark and moody, the track is built on a bed of punchy drums and exotic percussions. Trippy, reprocessed vocals are joined by gnarly basses, sweeping FX and impactful synths as delicate arps are weaved into the construction, perfect fodder for late-night sessions. Rounding out the release we have Act3. Right from the off, the track exudes a sense of euphoria as an early build up takes us to the driving bassline which is accompanied by solid beats and cool synths. The break displays a masterclass in synth manipulation, with clever cut-ups and quality FX enhancing the vibe. Amidst the dark tones, soft melodies come through, creating stark contrasts. Top-notch stuff once again.
