Cathy K and Monostone join forces for our next Bonzai Progressive release with the superb and aptly titled, Qetesh EP. Cathy K returns after her last effort – Sonorus, alongside Tekzee. The Maltese DJ, producer has been DJing for the many years and got into producing in the last 5 years. In her free time, she spends hours in the studio making music, her productive style incorporates various sounds however her major passion is creating various rhythms with ethnic and African percussions. Cairo, Egypt based electronic music DJ, producer Monostone debuts here making quite an impression. Known for dabbling in genres like Progressive House, Melodic House and Techno, he started out in 2010 making his own music and now boasts a fantastic array of releases on several labels. While on the decks, he aims to provide an engrossed experience for the crowd, something he does with great skill and passion. Great to have him here and great to see Cathy K return.

Qetesh opens the release and appropriately named title sends us into the depths of ecstasy as a raw, powerful groove evolves. Deep, chunky basses drive as exotic percussions stack up alongside infectious, hypnotic arpeggios. Captivating voices send shivers down the spine, marrying perfectly with the strong, dancey vibe. Superb effort with climactic qualities, not to be missed. Kodesh concludes the EP, offering up a more energetic vibe thanks to rolling bass arp. Solid beats thrive, creating fluid rhythms as soft, enchanting voices rise from the depths which evolve into rich Ethnically charged phrases. The track builds beautifully, striking synth plucks combine effortlessly on the break, resulting in a huge drop to a chugging finale. A stunning cut that will not disappoint.
