When Dem drums sing we move our bodies. When Dem drums beat we move our bodies. Through these wonderful words, DJ Said and Eric Kupper create an effortless track filled with uplifting Afro grooves. Inspired by DJ Said's recent trip to Nigeria, this collaboration with Eric Kupper adds another timeless track on the Fatsouls label. Using his new holy grail Arp 2600 analog synthesizers, Eric develops the tracks foundation with an incredible thumping bassline. In the song, DJ Said delves into the evolution of African drums and their influence on much of western music today. All drums mentioned in the lyrics (bongo, conga, bata) were intermittently dropped in this organically excellent track. Dem drums are magical!
