Winnipeg producer/deejay Joe Silva has releases on Red Melon, Stickman and Viva. Beginning in 1987 with his `Bite the Bullet EP' on Contagious Records, Silva has released a variety of tracks in a variety of styles. He has honed his production style into a deep techno-influenced house all his own and recently started the label Purespace. Silva holds a Saturday night residency at Lustre in Winnipeg where he regularly plays with house music heroes from Canada and abroad.
