After a couple of remixes for Magupi and some collaborations with label boss To Ricciardi, now comes the time for Dope (PT) to release a full length EP on Sururu Records.

All of he tracks where written during the last year so the themes reflect some of the feelings Dope (PT) had during this last year.

The title track, Nothing, starts off with some country music inspired guitars features vocals reflecting on the nothingness of some of our way of life on these modern times. It evolves slowly and steadily grows melodically with the guitars and broken synths.

Next comes Yriba a collaboration with Magupi, so you can expect a lot of African and tribal influences, it features vocals of Youssouf Ouattara singing about Yriba, the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life represents our personal development, uniqueness and individual beauty. Just as the branches of a tree strengthen and grow upwards to the sky, we too grow stronger, striving for greater knowledge, wisdom and new experiences as we move through life.

The last original track is Solitude and started as a contemplation on where ou mind can lead us when in isolation. Its a track with strong wobbly leads and flanged keys, with a recurring theme throughout.

To close the release we have a remix of the title track by Label boss To Ricciardi who brings the bpm down and adds an even more ethereal and atmospheric vibe to Nothing, making it a perfect closer for the EP.
