German producer and DJ Ludwig AF has maintained a slow and steady unveiling of his unique twist on contemporary electronic music over the past few years, dropping several EP’s on his own Exo Recordings International and one for DJ Haus’ Unknown To The Unknown. Here following on from the Spring release of ‘First Flight’, Ludwig AF welcomes the coming summer days with his second single of 2021, ‘Aqua’.

Nature showcases its power with water and here Ludwig does the same. The piece opens with LAF’s signature breakbeat led rhythmic style and cinematic pad sounds, giving it an instant classic feel although there’s nothing nostalgic about this futuristic piece! The tenson builds, the waves crash, nature flexes and the drama intensifies. The turquoise water becomes dark and the skies flash with an acid hurricane. For the outro everything returns to peace, only droplet sounds hint at the storm that has passed.
