This We Are VR 12" takes in four tracks and kicks off with Ben Sun's glorious grass roots house vibe
in "Just Living". Having picked up support himself from a disparate bunch including Radio 1, Mosca,
Tiger & Woods and Gerd Janson, he's not an artist to be ignored.
Francis Inferno Orchestra's "Father Figures" is the Melbourne-based producer's debut for VR and it
shows the Wolf Music and Under The Shade artist developing his classy, lo-slung but urgent take on
deep house beautifully.
Australia's DJ HMC, otherwise known as House Master Cam and one of the pioneers of house and
techno in Australia, shows a softer side to his previously displayed personas with the light, p-funk
flavoured "Starr Trax".
Finally, Tyson Ballard delivers the warm, spacious Sunday-vibe piece of house music that is "My
House". Touched with the magic that is Linkwood for the mixdown, it's an infectious piece that draws a
fitting end to a superb EP.
