Sri Lanka native Nafeer joins us on Bonzai Progressive with a fantastic debut cut titled Shankara. A self-confessed purveyor of fine underground progressive grooves is how he likes to describe himself. Based in Dubai since 2015, he graced the top clubs in the city under the watchful gaze of his mentor Charl Chaka. Producing music came naturally and we’re delighted to have him here at BP.

The Original Mix opens the release with a vibrant display of shuffling percussions and punchy kicks. A plucky bassline rolls through alongside sweeping atmospheres and striking synths creating a deep, cultural experience. Belgian electronic music master, Manu Riga, is up on remix duties, delivering yet another high quality interpretation to add to his ever growing back catalogue. A firm favourite here at Bonzai, the remix takes us deep with a mesmerizing and highly infectious construction.
