Cassio Ware delivers the goods on what has to be one of the hottest promos this week. There’s a choice of three mixes kicking off with the “Mecca Digital Dub” in which spoken word vocals, haunting synths, tribal rhythms and rumbling bass are the order of the day. Next up is “DJ Crime’s Urban Readied Refix” which increases the tempo and adds catchier melodic but subtle keyboards. Just when you think it can’t get any better the “Original Mix” pops up in all its glory with dusty jazz beats, funky bass, cool rhodes and clever lyrics delivered in a combination of spoken word and song. Clearly a contender for track of the week!!!
