We sit crooked and speak straight with Tee Maesto as he makes his debut to the DeepStitched family. This is what the man had to say for himself:

'My sound is an amalgamation of electronic, soulful and deep sounds that blend to give my niche sound a rich, melodic but groovy feel. Versatility is something I also hold with high regard and it is important for me to not sound predictable.

This release was inspired by many uncharted aesthetics, namely my fascination with vast outerspace and how those influences would translate in modern age House music. A few people might pick up my incorporation of the Jazzy elements too. I think it is an imperative cornerstone of Black music and in my small way, I pay tribute to that on this release.

The process of assembling this EP was very stressless for me because firstly, I was nervous about the mood I was setting from the 1st track of this body of work. Secondly, I wanted to have the same intensity in all of the songs, but not come across as aggressive. Creating a balance of musicality, but also staying true to that belt driven groove we love in the modern day underground sound, can be quite tricky.

Oceans Of Emptiness' is a very special song to me. I wanted to surprise my fellow music lovers with an idea of intrinsic technicality in my layout of the song, but also have something simplistic enough that sounds inviting to 'not-so-avid Deep House listeners'. I think it is some of my best work to date.'
