Accompanied by twangy synths and bouncy bass, Melleefresh revisits the space epic themes of such earlier work as Space Queen and Hyperion on the dance track Memories.

With Memories, however, Mellee employs a more somber tone than ever before, slowing her cadence and filling each lyric with a woeful regret.

'I actually recorded that vocal a few years ago,' says Mellee. 'It bounced around from project to project until finally finding its way home.'

Not the best fit for Melleefresh's (more upbeat) new album out at the end of the month, Memories is instead part of our Play at ADE 2020 compilation.
