Dan Fifield & Ben Webb are the names behind Knights of the Round Tables. With increasing acclaim for tracks such as 'Saxed Up' (remixed by the legendary DJ Spen) and 'Grooved Me', they are making quite a name for themselves in both music production and the DJ arena's. Ben was raised on Motown and Soul from as far back as he can remember. He has always liked dance music (hardcore, house & jungle) and started mixing at friends parties. He took to it very quickly and was soon itching to get out play in some larger venues. At the age of 15 Dans first realised his passion for dance music, listening to the underground pirate stations and dodgy rave tapes. His first taste of djing came when he was at college and the jungle scene was forming. Transfixed with this new form of music, he bought some cheap decks and taught himself to mix. This led to him attending some of the biggest raves in the 90's including World Dance, Desire and Dreamscape. When Ben and Dan met they were actually more interested in writing and producing music together. However, this eventually evolved into DJing together as their passion for house music grew. Through a lot of self-promoting and hard work they were eventually playing out, rocking parties and bars around London! They soon started playing some of their own material in their sets. In 2002 they met New Zealand singer Jessie Mathews. Blown away by her natural talent, they soon started recording her vocals on tracks they had written. This led them to incorporating a PA within their DJing sets. The pair are extremely fussy about what style of music they play and are always very careful about set selections. Playing 'funky' feel good party house, they often find it very difficult buying records that suit their demands. They are inspired by many different artists, but names such as junior jack, ATFC and basement jaxx are all names that frequent their record bags. With recent successful sets at The Ministry Of Sound and bookings at some of Londons larger clubs, Knights of the Round Tables are pushing forward to put themselves amongst some best names in the dance music scene.
