Hot Creations artist Jholeyson joins Stefano Noferini's Deeperfect imprint with a percussive house release entitled 'Mikies EP'. Since his debut release just three years ago, Colombian DJ and producer Jholeyson has caught the attention of some of house music's biggest names, including Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Steve Lawler, Hector Couto and Detlef to name a few. Now, with a stream of previous releases on the likes of Material, Low:Res and Roush, alongside helming his own Sticker Music imprint, he now brings his Latin-infused and vocal rich production to Deeperfect. 'Day Before' opens with rolling percussion, delicate vocal chops, groovy low-end and a luscious electric bass riff injecting some serious funk into things. Next, 'Mikies' goes into a deep, low-slung, groove with chunky kicks, cutting lyrics, rattling drums, perky claves and shimmering cymbals, a perfect cut for after-dark.
