For this new Chrom EP our label manager Pedro Mercado teamed up for the first time with Nico Zuaro, resulting in not less than 3 original collab tracks! Nico and Pedro are from the same region in Belgium and almost have the same age, sharing a long history as DJ in some legendary Belgian clubs. But strangly enough the 2 never met before, untill Nico came down to our ADE Chrom Showcase in Amsterdam last year and gave us some demos. The 2 immediately connected which is no surprise at all because of their very similar background. The result was first a track from Nico Zuaro on our Chromologic Sampler in the beginning of this year, and now this collab EP together with Pedro Mercado, called Sub. The EP contains 3 original tracks: the leading track Substantial is a melodic masterpiece. Also the 2 other tracks are situated somewhere between melodic house and techno with the second track Subconsciousness being a bit more progressive house orientated and the third track Subject having more catchy percussive elements. Those last 2 tracks are also completed with a great remix each.The remix of Subconsciousness comes from the hands of Filip Fisher. Filip, from Novi Beograd in Serbia but currently based in Belgrade, is already active in the electronic music industry for more than 10 years working as a DJ, producer and label owner of one of our favourite labels The Purr. His sets and productions consist of uplifting deep tech groovy beats with underground and minimal sounds. Next to releasing on his own label The Purr he also releases on many other labels such as Rezongar, ICONYC, Maintain Replay,... reaching several times the top100 charts on Beatport. The remix of Subject is made by Moke Okeric and Denis Kotolenko aka Forniva and Eleven Sins, from Sarajevo in Bosnia And Herzegovina. Forniva and Eleven Sins are DJ's, producers and AandR managers of the quality label Lowbit. They are known for their signature sound which is a mixture of deep, tech and melodic elements.
