A new year, so time for something new: in 2019 Chrom Recordings is launching the Chromologic Sampler Series. Each Sampler will contain 5 leading tracks from 5 different artists, which will range from deep house over progressive house to melodic techno. So instead of focusing on an EP from 1 artist with a leading track completed with some other originals andor remixes, Chromologic will focus on leading tracks only from different artists. For our first Sampler we selected 5 complementary tracks from Kosinski and Pedro Mercado, Loui Fernandez, De Verloren Zoon, Nico Zuaro and Ros Sunset.First track is One Beat, a peaktime melodic techno track produced by Kosinski together with our label manager Pedro Mercado, both residing in Belgium. You should definitely remember Kosinski from his great Esperanto EP which was released on Chrom a few months ago. Kosinski is a true live artist with his own signature sound resulting in Deep Melodic and Emotional Techno. Combined with Pedro Mercado this results in pure dance floor power!Second track is Excell, a super catchy club techno track produced by Loui Fernandez from Spain. Loui Fernandez and Pedro Mercado worked already together several times in the past. Most recently Pedro Mercado released an EP on Frequenza Black, the new concept label from Loui Fernandez which is part of the Frequenza label group. So it was only a matter of time that Loui would appear on Chrom.Third track is Stranger Things, a dark intriguing underground track produced by De Verloren Zoon from The Netherlands. De Verloren Zoon aka Melvin Kalkman appeared already on Chrom as Melvin Marcredi when he did a remix for Dast and Dylan one year ago. Now he is back under another name and with an original track from his own. He describes his style as a mix between deep-, tech- house and techno as you can hear in this track.Fourth track is Access, a melodic masterpiece produced by Nico Zuaro from Belgium. Nico Zuaro was born in 1973 and has a long history as a DJ in some legendary Belgian clubs. After a long stop he is back in the music scene world again producing melodic deep house and melodic techno music. And this track is only the beginning, because Nico is about to finish an EP for Chrom together with Pedro Mercado as we speak!Fifth track is Unknown Island, a beautiful oriental deep house track produced by Ros Sunset from France. Ros Sunset, real first name Renaud, is the latest creation by a French musician who has had many musical lives before turning his hand to electronic music production. His style goes from deep oriental to more groovy vibes, but always with a hypnotic feel as you can experience in this track.
