Its unusual for a producer to retire before his debut LP drops but listening to this debut you soon realise there is nothing usual about Czech producer SBSTRD. He starts by taking you on a twisted odyssey through club music with influences ranging from UK Garage to Grime to Jersey and Footwork before taking an altogether dark turn in the latter stages giving you a hint of where he might be heading if he is to continue under a different moniker in the future.
