Lilac Jeans is a trio of Ayaya Socikwa aka DJ Aya, Linda Sikhosana aka Menu and Floyd Nkonyane aka Floyd from South Africa. Lilac Jeans emerges to expose the quality music and its referential genres of Jazz to soul, Dance and soulful house all in the border of their unique style. They all produce/Deejay & remix house & other genres.

The formation of Lilac Jeans started in the year 2009 when Floyd and DJ Aya met Menu in a historic township called Soweto, the west side of Soweto, the first time when they met, Floyd and DJ Aya where busy with their projects and when Menu came in they just felt the connection that they need to form a group.

DJ Aya and Menu are the brains behind the rhythmic sections, arrangements, mixing & mastering.
