The Nereau catalogue continues its explorations with the first release of the year - introducing the new cover art format developed by Paper Paper Studio featuring collages by artist Matteo Sacchi.
Label co-founder Francesco Danesi debuts with his brand new project 'Edea', presenting a beautiful two-tracker called 'Leftover'.
Edea is a dive into the unknown, where everything becomes uncertain. The title track 'Leftover' is a slow tripping piece that suddenly evolves into a melancholic break; an androgynous vocal sample appears as the rhythm grows, and that's the turning point of the track.
'Divide' brings some more energy to the release: a reverberated piano fades into the convolutions of the main leads, and as the track goes on, a crunchy voice seems to narrate a story.
'Leftover' brilliantly stands on a thin line, balancing introspection and extroversion. Edea's first release is a tiny gem you definitely don't want to miss.
