Rudists - Villain EP

As knight falls, Villain -
cloaked in midnight’s shadow,
his song cuts the dark.

After the success of the first Born Raised Records release by Animal Feelings, we are excited to announce the debut release by Rudists, with their Villain EP. Rudists are the musical stylings of Cameo Culture and John Camp. They present here three songs, blending elements of jazz, techno, and house; accompanied by an unbridled and perhaps at times inappropriate sense of free will. The acoustic elements of trumpet by Greg Paulus of No Regular Play, piano and seventeen baskets of random percussive instruments sit snugly amongst drum machines and synthesizers. Remixes come in hot, courtesy of none other than house music grandmaster Brett Johnson, NYC stalwarts No Regular Play, the man responsible for putting the extra "e" in the phrase "deeep cut", N'Conduit, and Brooklyn wunderkind Taylor Bense.
