Subplot Recordings was founded by Jeffrey Tice in June, 2018. Subplot releases are usually House or Tech House, and sometimes Techno. The Subplot Family includes artists such as Jeffrey Tice, Brett Johnson, Spettro, Stanny Abram, DJ EFX, Lex Loofah, Lucas Ray, PointBender, Jeff Scroggins, Daniel Allen, PonyTech, Gioele Mazza, The Stoned, Trent Johnson, and more. While we appreciate dark sounds as much as anyone, our focus is on making positive-leaning soundscapes that lift our listeners up, especially in a time when positivity is sometimes hard to find.
