Ultraverse aka Sasha Skiff debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic Astropilot EP which is backed up with two quality remixes from Cherry (UA) and Vitaly Shtrum. Sasha has had a very strong passion for electronic music since going clubbing in London. It was at Club UK where he knew he wanted to be a DJ and, influenced by Sasha & Digweed, Lee Burridge, Depeche Mode and others, he did just that. He moved to Dublin, Ireland and finished out his studies into sound engineering before embarking on his career as a music producer and DJ. He currently runs A&R for the popular BC2 Records and he has seen his music released on the likes of Pro B Tech, Balkan Connection South America, Mystique Music, Incepto Deep, OLD SQL Records, NUBE and Morninglory Music. Great to have him on board.

First up we have the Original Mix which intros with a very nice, chunky kick drum and hi hat combi followed by cool percussion fills. Soft pads rise up as classic style chord stabs fade in. The bassline bounces through the groove beautifully creating a shifting and morphing arrangement that intrigues. The break reveals a rich, melodic streak that adds a wonderful dynamic to the track, making this an absolute must have.

Cherry (UA) aka Ukraine based DJ and producer Oleh Cherkes returns to BP on remix duties. We last caught a glimpse of this guy on the epic Hello which performed very well indeed. He also delivered a stunning remix on Gai Barone's Flash which became a hot favourite among many as well as charting on Beatport. No stranger to the scene, Oleh has several releases on various labels and his music enjoys a lot of support from across the board. He is also known for his dynamic, building sets that always pleases the crowd. Here Oleh delivers an all-round solid slice of progressive house complete with trilling melodies and burgeoning stabs. Cool arpeggios cascade through the sound as deep, lush bass tones dominate the groove. On the break we find captivating synth plucks that unleash a powerful melodic layer. An infectious cut groove that will not disappoint.

Vitaly Shturm marks his Bonzai debut with his superb Broken Beats Remix. A huge talent from Russia, Vitaly got into electronic music in 1997 and since 2000 he found his calling was in producing and performing as a DJ. His first official release came in 2015 on the Greek label Underground Music before cuts on Soundteller, Suffused and Clinique. His music enjoys great support from a host of jocks and it's great to have him here. Vitaly does not disappoint with this one, the breaks patterns are pacey and engaging with a powerfully robust bassline at its core to help move the groove. The ambience created on the pads and vox is simply outstanding. Emotion and tension are locked together for the duration making this a must for any peak time slot.
