No Satisfaction
Credit 00 Molenbeek Bad Boy Remix (5:48)
Ca$hminus first started on the B-side of a Bordello A Parigi 12inch, where Gratts & Eluize dreamt up a whole new universe inspired by the Moneymax nineties jam on the flip. The pair delivered two tracks born in a place where Belgian new beat, EBM and early rave sounds meet. "No Satisfaction" came in two incarnations: the original vocal version plus a mean acid dub for those anxious strobo moments. The EP was then released as CSHMNS001, the first digital outing of Cashminus Music, a platform used to unleash sounds that fit the duo's dj-sets and probably yours. CSHMNS002 came in the form of Belgian youngsters Pelace's debut, delivering four machine jams to soundtrack nocturnal rides across sleepy metropoles. Now CSHMNS003 is upon us, starring two friends reimagining "No Satisfaction". There's old friend Credit 00 from Leipzig via Dresden. A long time member of the Uncanny Valley camp, he started his Rat Life imprint in 2014, reflecting the imperfect spirit of all night dance parties in dark and dirty basements by releasing intoxicated electronics from all corners of the universe. His hard hitting "Molenbeek Bad Boy Remix" is tougher than a night walk through the Brussels wilderness. Belgian electronic music veteran Bijou (aka Kennyboy aka Dilemma) has been in the game for decades. He released his first techno tracks in the nineties but churns out cheerful italo disco tracks just as easily these days. Living at the Belgian seaside, his playful revision chugs along evoking afternoon walks on the windy Ostend pier. More satisfaction? You've said it!
