After a 3-year hiatus from dance music, Billy Newton-Davis returns in fine form on this jackin house collaboration with the UK's Sordid Soundz (Ian Donaldson of Bronski Beat.) As a former backup singer for dance music diva Gloria Gaynor, Newton-Davis was present at ground zero for the explosion of disco in New York in the 1970s. And it was these experiences and his respect for Gaynor that drove Billy to pen this tribute to disco's most fabulous queen.
