Yanik Coen, a name that has been associated with quality music & DJ sets for over a decade. Montreal raised and Miami based, he has developed a very unique sound: sexy, vocal and percussion driven, his energy can be recognized as soon as he hits the decks. With experience very few can boast about, Yanik has become known for his versatility and incomparable music knowledge: “It’s not only about what to play but more importantly when & how to play it”. His ability to adapt and extensive creative insight are what sets him apart from the rest. While producing music on some of dance music's finest record labels, he now runs his newly launched House music driven brand and label Not Everyone Understands™.
