Mike Parra is a New Jersey-based house music DJ and producer known for his groovy, bass-heavy sound layered with Latin and hip-hop influences. Raised in a Colombian-American household steeped in the rhythms of the late '80s and early '90s, Mike began his musical path as a drummer—laying the foundation for his signature rhythmic style.
A graduate of IAR and Dubspot NYC, Mike brings both technical precision and raw energy to every set. Since breaking into the scene in 2009, he's earned his stripes playing alongside heavyweights like Paul Ritch, Pablo Ceballos, Darius Syrossian, Victor Calderone, Oscar G, Saeed Younan, and Boris. From NY and NJ, to Miami (FL), and Bogotá (Colombia), gracing legendary venues like Pacha NYC, Cielo NYC, Space Ibiza NY, Governor's Island, Bliss NJ, Society NJ, Palace Rooftop (Miami), just to name a few. A mainstay in NYC and NJ's afterhours circuit, his dynamic performances effortlessly evolve from warm-up to peak-time, fluidly shifting from deep and driving, to high-energy and euphoric.
