TECHNOIR is an Alternative R&B/Electronic band based in Milan with Italian, Nigerian and Greek origins.
The duo, comprised of Alexandros Finizio and Jennifer Villa, who drive every aspect of the project from songwriting to production and visual concepts, has brought their sound all over Europe and has drawn the interest of national and international magazines like Afropunk, Billboard. Rolling Stone named them as one of the most innovative Italian Progressive R&B bands.
The duo mixes Soul, Electronica, Jazz and touches of Psychedelic-Rock in a very personal blend, in 2019 they collaborated with Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai) and Cristiano Crisci (Clap!Clap!) recording the track "More Than You Can See" (AlieNation, 2019).
TECHNOIR explored the darker corners of soulful electronica with their 2020 album "Never Trust the Algorithm", which was included in the Billboard Italia 2020 Albums Top 10.
In 2023 they're continuing their sonic explorations with a new album, inspired by the 90's Bristol sound, set for release in October.
