SOMEGUY (Danny Woodhouse)

At the tender age of 18, Danny began his love affair with DJing, performing primarily at his own events across Essex. His early passion for organising and promoting quickly evolved into a drive to refine his DJ career — earning residencies across London and Essex and building a solid reputation on the club circuit.

Although Danny initially embraced a multi-genre style, his heart was always with House music. Following a life-changing trip to Ibiza in 2017, he and a close friend launched the production duo Someguyz. While the project was short-lived, it became the foundation for his solo identity — Someguy.

As Someguy, Danny dived headfirst into production, releasing music on respected labels such as Elrow, Kittball, Lost, and 303Lovers, cementing his place among credible emerging talents in the scene. His feature on Data Transmission's acclaimed Spotlight series further marked him out as one to watch.

In early 2020, Danny made a bold move — stepping away from his day job to open his own bar and nightclub. When the pandemic hit, his music career was forced to pause, but the creative spark never left.

Fast forward to 2025: after a five-year hiatus and a return trip to Ibiza, Danny has rediscovered his passion and is ready to make his mark once again. With new music on the horizon and a revitalised energy behind the Someguy project, expect to hear his sound becoming a staple in your playlists very soon.
