BOURER THE FUNK

Being in love with music his whole life, Bongani Nombamba joined the entertainment scene, in 2004, and became known as Bourer the Funk. Intrigued with spinning records and making crowds of people dance, he taught himself how to blend and mix tracks. From listening to radio shows and numerous DJ Mixtapes, he further mastered this craft and was able to mix smoother. Growing up in a predominately popular Deep House environment (King Williams Town, Clubview), Bourer naturally embraced the culture and started DJ’ing local house parties and clubs.

In 2006, Bourer’s career began to rise to new heights by producing music. 2008 he was discovered by Diamond Dealer, He introduced him to the music industry and promoted his first Track Lovely Power, which was playlisted on BBC Xtra1, later Diamond Dealer Re-edited the rack and compiled it on his album The One, the same year Bourer produced A Little Night Music which was later compiled on Dmos House Collexions. Over the past 10 years Bourer has been polishing his music career and made a mark with his soulful notions, featuring artists from across the world.
