Rancido is a Dutch DJ and producer celebrated for his ability to merge organic techno and house with deep African influences, creating a sound that resonates worldwide. Born in 1983 and inspired early by his mother's love for house music, he began experimenting with music at a young age and quickly developed his own style. His career took off with standout releases on respected labels including Innervisions, Defected, Vega Records, Compost, and Moblack, as well as remixes for industry icons such as Black Coffee. Over time, his tracks climbed the charts on Traxsource and another download site, gaining consistent support from leading artists like Dixon, Âme, Solomun, Louie Vega, Osunlade, Atjazz, and Culoe De Song.

Rancido's global journey has taken him to prestigious venues such as Fabric (London), Watergate (Berlin), Rex Club (Paris), and festivals including Ultra Miami, Mysteryland, Loveland, and Kunye. Through his imprint OMENI, he continues to evolve, showcasing his vision through ambient, melodic techno, and Afro-inspired sounds.
