Rising talent Shaf Huse arrives on Roush this June, as the Italian releases his latest two track EP ‘Funk’. With heavy support from the likes of The Martinez Brothers, Seth Troxler, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Jamie Jones and Luciano, Milan based producer/DJ Shaf Huse quickly emerged as one of the industries most talked about names of 2017. The young Italian’s emergence onto the global circuit certainly didn’t go unnoticed either, with releases on the likes of Yoruba Grooves and D-Floor Music and collaborations with Music On resident LEON, whilst gracing the decks at key venues across Europe (Ministry Of Sound, Egg London, Amnesia Milan, AIR Amsterdam) and South America (Club Room Chile). Following the release of his heavily championed ‘Get Em Up’ this March, early-May will welcome the arrival of a fresh and highly anticipated two tracker on Roush, with both productions set to become firm fixtures across the terraces of the White Isle and beyond throughout 2018. Title track ‘Funk’ is a production typical of the Italian’s up-front, energy driven style, effortlessly combining skipping percussion licks, and a driving bassline under infectious hip-hop influenced vocal snippets, before turning to ‘All About’ on the flip, as razor sharp hats and punchy drums align to reveal another commanding and vibrant cut geared for the peak time.
