This is a first for DeepStitched and what a great first it is! We have Xperiment, a 9 track LP from the immensely talented Continuum. Xtended featuring vocals from the lovely SOLR which effortlessly movies into Xcel. Xcel preps the listen as to what to expect for the remainder of their listening experience. It's a bit jazzy, has a nice meaty bass line and squeaky clean aux drum work. Xempt pounds in the 4 on the floor beat. Deep, dark and a nice vocal loop that is the cherry on top. Xert is another musical muscle flexer with haunting pads and cold keys dancing in the background. Xpect is a nice slow chugger of a track. Stabs of watery pads ebb and flow throughout with a solid 4 on 4 kick that metronomes the track to help guide you through. Xpel starts out quiet with only congas and a shaker leading the way. Layered pads and icy stabs with almost a cosmic effect that build throughout the track. The bass line is there but used just as a sprinkle rather than driving the track. Xpend is a bit on the down beat side. Distorted vocals and a bubbly bass line make this track effortlessly cool. Xpress is full of blips and bloops, silky pads and stabs. It has almost a heartbeat in the background making this feel like the birth of a new life form. Xtend rounds out this lush LP with a floor beater of a track. Groovy, crunchy and deep, this track is the perfect ending to an already phenom offering from Continuum. Remember to Play It Loud!
