For The People residents, Talal & Zoi, return to the Toronto-based label with a two track EP 'Deep Blues' featuring a remix from Jamie Kidd. The title track is a hybrid of a very deep and ethereal bassline paired with the bold use of hi-hats and percussions with ringing chimes coming in to build it up, continuing the movement throughout. The track titled 'Blue Dub' is the perfect accompaniment, showcasing a more minimal side of Talal & Zoi. The bassline stays at a consistent tempo while the hi's and drums put the track into motion. Jamie Kidd finishes the EP off with a remix of Blue Dubb, accentuating the drums and upping the BPM, fully incorporating his techno finesse.
