Black Box Technology is the music brain child of Restless Soul member Felix Hopkins with NZ’s Nathan Haines providing some rather nifty alto flute. The title track sounds like an approximation of what the Headhunters would be up to if they weren’t all old has-beens; namely digital technology crossed with live jazz funk instruments. ‘Caterpillar' (Bonus) is a handy additional beats track with increased jungle noises and rhythms and ‘All My Circuits’ is an early doors soulful jazz number with lush synth chords and rousing bass line.
