1.so my dads a sax player and both my parents loved music , jazz , funk , soul , disco , motown , all the good stuff , when i was around 9 or 10 years old i started hearing hip - hop on radio and on tv , and saw grandmaster flash spinning and scratching records , i picked up on some the breaks and sounds from some of the vinyl my parents have and i knew then djing was what i wanted to do , i knew at that young age it would take me years to be able to even own a set of turntables yet alone learn how to do what i was fascinated by not only the music , but the breaking & the b-boy image and the graffiti , as a teenager i had a good collection off hip hop and was painting graffiti i was around 14 years old by then and managed to become part of a youth scheme for graffiti writers in my borough and taking to bags of vinyl to school then catching a bus to the studio to mix at a studio for free , around the same time i was hearing alot of house and started to hear sounds i'd heard growing up but not only that i'd recognise other sounds in hip hop that id heard as a kid . i was 16 when i first started buying my first house vinyl which is 21 years ago and ive been buying playing and collecting ever since aswell as hip hop , and soul , funk jazz , disco , got into producing fully around 4 years ago and have brought all the flavours growing up into my music whilst keeping a love for house and hip house into my own sound , i always wanted to be a drummer as a young kid and a teen i guess aswell as DJ but my parents said they couldnt fit drums in the house , well now i fit drums into my HOUSE
