Like popcorn and movies, like ice cream and french fries... and like Hollywood Blvd. and truly world-class freaks, The Bearded Man has always believed that certain things just go better together. Many people aren’t aware, but he actually spent a summer dressed up as Batman (completely unsanctioned by the respective rights holders, btw) and took pictures with tourists on the walk of fame. After about a month of “success” (if you could call it that), a youngster came along dressed as Robin. Sometimes families with small children would ask for a picture with the both of them, even though they didn’t know each other and weren’t technically working together. After it happened a few times, The Bearded Man joked that he would really adopt the lad in real life. Well, through a series of unfortunate events, that joke became legally binding, and The Bearded Batman now had a son/partner in crime. In the end, The Bearded Man had to learn a valuable lesson about what it means to let people into his previously reclusive life, and after fighting crime together for at least a few years, he truly does feel they’re better together.
